This Privacy Policy explains how Glasses4U collects and uses data. If not otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms have the meaning given to them in the Glasses4U Terms of Service, which are available at (the “Terms”). Glasses4U respects your right to privacy. Your ability to make informed choices about the uses of your information is important to us. Information We Collect

In order to use our Site and/or Services and/or place any orders, you may be required to register and provide us with certain Personal Information, such as your e-mail address, address, phone number and eyeglass prescription. We also collect Personal Information when you make use of the Site and/or Services, or contact us for any other reason. The credit card information that you provide is collected by a third party service provider. We only retain the last four digits of your credit card number.

Personal Information” means information that can be directly associated with a specific person or entity, such as a name and e-mail address or information about activities directly linked to a person, such as that person’s purchasing history. It is your voluntary decision whether to provide us with any such Personal Information, but if you refuse to provide such information we may not be able to register you to use the Site and/or Services.

In addition, when you use Site and/or Services certain information may be automatically gathered about your mobile device, computer, IP address or operating system.

How we Protect Information

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We will delete any information provided to us by a user upon the receipt of a written request by such user. We cannot restore information that we have deleted.

How we Use Information

Except as expressly set forth herein, we will not share your Personal Information with third parties without your explicit permission, except when required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order. We may use Personal Information internally – for example, to help diagnose problems with our servers, to make Glasses4U more useful, to customize Glasses4U and personalize its content for you.

We use the provided data to fulfill your orders and will share some of that data with the eyeglass providers. We also use a third party credit card services provider to process the payments.

By analyzing all information we receive, including all information concerning users, we may compile statistical information across a variety of users (“Statistical Information”). Statistical Information helps understand trends and user needs so that new products and services can be considered and so existing products and services can be tailored to user desires. Statistical Information does not indicate individuals’ identities, and we will not link Statistical Information to any Personal Information. We may share Statistical Information with our partners, without restriction, on commercial terms that we can determine in our sole discretion. We also use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of the Site and/or Service. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other websites they used prior to coming to this Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Use of Glasses4U by Children

Glasses4u does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. In the event you become aware that an individual under the age of 13 has enrolled without parental permission, please advise us immediately.

Correcting or Updating your Information.

We allow you to view the information you provided during registration and to alter any data, inaccuracies or errors.
