What are multifocals, and do I need them?
Sometime around the age of 40, people begin to experience difficulty when reading, using the computer or blurred vision during other near activities. This is called Presbyopia- it’s a natural condition where the eyes slowly lose the ability to focus at near distances. The lens in our eye hardens with age, therefore losing it’s elasticity and flexiblility to focus up close.
If you already wear glasses to correct distant vision, multifocals may be your best option. Multifocals are lenses with no visible line that are used to correct distance vision, close-up reading and the distances in between (arms length and computer distance). The lens gradually changes in power from top to bottom, offering a seamless progression of distant, intermediate and near vision.
Multifocals save you the hassle of having multiple pairs of glasses for every distance, and allow you to go about your dynamic lifestyle with ease and great vision.
At Glasses4u we offer top of the line multifocal lenses at affordable prices and a 1 month no-questions-asked adjustment period.
